Brief Answer:
Need to check for arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi
There is a possibility of arthritis.
However since it is recent in onset, it could be viral in origin.
It is recommended to take paracetamol or painkillers like Aleve.
However if this persists a check up for the same in the form of ESR, CRP, rheumatoid factor and anti-CCP should be carried out.
In the meantime medication on a prn basis.
Calcium and vitamin d levels must be optimized.
Local measures for pain like pain relieving gels and hot fomentation can be used.
