Question: I have a throbbing pain on the right lower side which is going to the lower back , it kept me the whole night up
Started yesterday night and went away during the day but last night was way much worse , if I press on the right just above the hip under my ribs that is very touchy

I have gone through the details. Lower back pain for 1 to 2 days can be due to a muscle strain or stress. I suggest you follow this to relieve your symptoms:

- Hot fomentation
- Pain relief gel
- Hot shower bath

The above 3 are home physio which should be done 2 times a day. It will relax the muscle. Repeat for a week.

You can take painkillers such as aceclofenac once or twice a day for 2 to 3 days.

Drink lots of water around 3 to 4 liters per day.

In case it persists, then you may have to visit your physician for a detailed examination and treatment.
