Brief Answer:
More details needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.

I think it would be better if you upload a photo of the throat and I can see its conditions. Also I want to know if you are having pain in throat and difficulty swallowing, fever or elevated body temperature. This details would be helpful to determine if the throat is infected or not.
If you have elevated body temperature, difficulty swallowing, the throat is red with white dots of pus most probably the throat is infected ( acute tonsillitis is the diagnosis) and antibiotics are needed. Gargling with backing soda or salt is needed.

Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
