I Have A12 Yr Old Female Who Does Have A
Question: I have a12 yr old female who does have a sore throat, snotty nose, watery eyes no fever
Brief Answer:
Viral flu / sinusitis....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
These symptoms are either due to common viral infection (common flu) or an allergic rhinosinusitis. In this circumstance, I would suggest starting antihistamine (zyrtec) along with liquid tylenol. Alternatively she can consider tylenol cold and flu instead of liquid tylenol.
In addition, I also recommend steam inhalation three times a day. Watch out worsening sorethroat and high grade fever.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Healthy diet - fruits and vegetables...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern; the symptoms due to virus and allergies can last a few days. Unless the child is dull, irritable and not feeding well, I would not be overly worried. Continue with tylenol cold and flu. Steam inhalation as mentioned earlier will be extremely helpful. In addition fruits and vegetables and plenty of fluids will help in recovery.
Apologies for the late reply and hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.
