Question: I have amild case of cops and before the virus hit I was working for uber eats 4 hrs a day. I am 73 and I want to go back to work. My question is if I wear mask gloves and glasses would it be safe for me to go back to work?

Hi and thanks so much for this query.

Protection works and that i can attest to. As a frontline worker who took care of so many patients, I am still negative for antibodies meaning my protective measures worked. If you were to follow them as prescribed, there is no reason not to return to work.

However, given your age, if you were ever to come down with this virus, you may have a severe infection. But chances are lower falling sick if you strictly adhere to preventive practices and do so correctly. Your COPD is mild, though adds to chances of severe infection, this is very minimal.
