Question: I have an issue with my ear. I cannot hear very well. I feel there is a pressure in my ear and just like I got out of an airplane. The sound I hear is not clear.

I visited the hospital and I was prescribed antihistamine. I have been taking the antihistamine for 4 days. Sometimes I feel my hearing is improved by 50% and sometimes no improvement.

Attached is the test I did for my ear pressure based on which the doctor decided to prescribe antihistamine for me.

Brief Answer:
Audiogram may be necessary

Detailed Answer:
Hii. I went through your complaints. In my opinion, you need a complete ENT evaluation. I will recommend you consult an ENT surgeon. Do a examination of the ear, nose and throat. Do a hearing test audiogram (You have not done this audiogram). You also need to do a impedance audiogram. It's not clear from the report you have sent. You also need to do a nasal endoscopy to see the eustachian tube. This eustachian tube is the connection between nose and ear. Eustachian tube dysfunction can cause similar symptoms.

In the meantime I would start fluticasone nasal spray along with antihistamine (levocetrizine) if you have nasal allergic symptoms like sneezing, rhinorrhea.

Please review once the report has been done.

Detailed Answer:
Hii. You are having less compliance in left ear may be any inflammation of middle ear mucosa or eustachian tube dysfunction. You do an endoscopy of nose,x ray paranasal sinus and soft tissue neck lateral view and review. Continue the spray and levocetrizine. Take steam inhalation.
