Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your complaints and you seem to be having scalp folliculitis.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take capsule doxycycline 100 mg once daily at bedtime for at least 10-12 weeks and use ketoconazole shampoo twice weekly for head wash.
Meanwhile you can continue with benzoyl peroxide 5 percent gel.
Doxycycline is a prescription drug and you need to see the doctor in person to get it.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
