Question: I have attached my Semen analysis report. I am a 31 Year Male, who is trying for Child. My infertility specialty doctor says that I have low sperm count which is 56 million/mL, and asked me to take a series of Hormone, Sugar, Thyroid, and Blood Tests. Please suggest is the Sperm count good enough for fertilization & child

As per the WHO standards, the counts are fine as they are more than 15 million, however more than 8 per cent of abnormal forms indicate TERATOZOOSPERMIA. However the counts are good for seeking an IUI or and IVF procedure but for timed intercourse or natural conception the counts are fairly low and should ideally be more than 150 million, hence the counts are concsidered low by your doctor for natural conception.
