Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.
I have read your query and here is my advice.
Besides Ménière's disease that is a condition associated with vertigo, trauma is an important contributor of vertigo.
There are post traumatic conditions associated with vertigo and these include peripheral neurotologic injury, central causes of posttraumatic vertigo such as postconcussion syndrome, whiplash injury syndrome, diffuse axonal injury, etc.
All traumatic causes of vertigo are potentially treatable, but, first, a correct diagnosis is necessary.
Multidisciplinary evaluation by an ENT Doctor, Neurologist and by tests ( MRI of the brain and cervical spine, otological tests ) are necessary for a correct diagnosis.
Discuss with your Doctor for these issues.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
