I Have Been Fatigued, Nauseas When I Think Of Eating

Question: I have been fatigued, nauseas when I think of eating and nauseas when I don’t eat, and continues night sweats for 3 days now. I did have a breast augmentation a week from yesterday but I am not taking pain medication. I have eaten maybe twice in the past three days and slept a total of 7 hours. I also should have started my period and have yet to do so. Should I schedule an appointment with my gynecologist or primary care doctor? Or do you think it will pass?
Brief Answer:
Can be related to gastritis.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
Feeling of nausea can cause loss of appetite. This can be related to gastritis which is quite common problem. You can start with Omeprazole along with an antacid and see if these are helpful. You can get these over the counter at your nearest pharmacy.
The night sweats can be related to weakness also. This should subside in next few days with medicines and light easy to digest diet. Add more fruits to your daily routine.
In case the problem persists or worsens then consider going to your primary physician.
Hope this answers your questions.
Any follow up queries are welcome.
