
I Have Been Feeling Like My Tongue Is Sore Almost Like When You Eat To Much Salt

Question: Hello there 49 yr old women here for 2 days now I have been feeling like my tongue is sore almost like when you eat to much salt . Last at the dentist in feb all is good other than needing a good cleaning and gingivitis... no other symptoms I do do rinses with salt and water at times but not always any suggestions

Well, it lools like the soreness of tongue with no other symptoms can be due to mild inflammation of tongue.

I do suffer from allergies
I usually eat bland but I do have salt

It can be inflammation of tongue also known as Glossitis.
For now do warm saline gargles twice a day.
Suck ice popsicle.
Avoid spicy foods.
Take a Vitamin B complex daily for week
Drink plenty of water.
Eat soft foods.
