Brief Answer:
No, biaxin don't cause these symptoms...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
No, biaxin don't cause the pain. This drug may cause unpleasant taste but doesn't cause the pain as you describe. Psychological disturbance such as depression or mania are very, very rare listing of the drug seen and reported in rarest circumstance. I haven't noticed such disturbances in my 12 years of practice. So based on my experience I'd rule that out.
To understand the cause better I'd like to know if you notice visible lumps in the neck? And if it hurts to swallow or drink? Are you still having fever and weakness?
Awaiting your response...
Regards
