I Have Been Going To Physical Therapy For A Broken
Question: I have been going to physical therapy for a broken hip and knee replacement surgery and a drop foot. Today my therapist said she does not think that I have foot drop rather she believes I have spasticity. She thinks I might have had a stroke in the past. I never heard of spasticity nor do I know of a stroke.
What do you recommend I do. Should I see a neurologist? I would like to know if I had a stroke

Brief Answer:
Hope you have a good health
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Drop foot can be caused by neurodeficit. You should see a neurologist as soon as possible. In this case your doctor may need to do a full examination and brain CT scan if your doctor suspects from a stroke or anything that causes a brain problem.
I hope that It can help you, and please let me know if you have any clarification or question about that, and I would be welcome to discuss it with you further. I hope you have good health.
