Question: I have been having a growth on the side of my foot for a while now. I have never really had a doctor look at it before, as other than being ugly to look at, and can be sensitive at times when rubbed on, it hasn't given me any issue. I was wondering what this could possibly be?

Brief Answer:
Probably granuloma, follow the advice below

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query.

I also reviewed the attached reports.
In my opinion the symptoms seem to be related to a condition named granuloma annulare.
It is commonly caused my minor injuries.

I suggest to use a steroid cream for local application such as Hydrocortisone cream.
Usually they go away on its own and no other treatment is required.
If it will not go away you should see a dermatologist for other possible treatment such as light therapy.
To conclude, they are usually benign, so you should not be worried.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
