I Have Been Having Bone Pain All Over (wrist, Shins,
Question: I have been having bone pain all over (wrist, shins, forearm, ankle and knees). I also have shaky (tremor if) hands with palm pain and neck pain.
It’s a quick sharp throbbing pain and then it aches for a few minutes before going away and coming back in another body part. I took an oral steroid for 6 days and during the those six days i did not have the pain.
I have had all type of blood work. Two noticeable issues:
Sedimentation rate (inflammation) is high 20.
White blood count is lower 4.03 vs. my normal rate which is 4.9.
ANA test (antinuclear antibodies test) was negative.
B vitamin, k vitamin, e vitamin. -normal
Thyroid test normal
CBC blood test all within normal range (white blood count only number lower than average)
CRP test normal
Brain MRI normal
Going to a rheumatologist in March. What areas should be of focus? What can possible causes be? What can i do in the interim?

The frequency of these pains could be up to 20 times a day. They all last for short periods ( 2 mins or less)

Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query
It seems to be a systemic inflammatory disorder. Your Rheumatologist needs to rule out Fibromyalgia, Parkinson's disease, and myopathies.
This can be done by further blood tests and EMG.
Sometimes muscle biopsy may be needed to confirm.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
