I Have Been Having Enlarged Lymph Nodes For A Year And Half Now. Multiple Nodes Are Enlarged On My Neck Nodes Appeared/grew To Where They Are Over A Period Of 1-2 Months And Stayed Like That Since Then Is This Something I Need To Be Worried About?

Question: I have been having enlarged lymph nodes for a year and half now. Multiple nodes are enlarged on my neck (left supraclavicular node is the one most significantly enlarged but not externally visible), two under my jaw/chin and multiple ones (some appear to be matted, not sure of this) on both sides of groin. I didnt have any illnesses before the appearance of the nodes and nothing major since then apart from the occasional cold/sore throat. I am also not sexually active and dont do drugs. I also havent had any weight loss, tiredness or such symptoms since the nodes appeared. In fact i had a weight gain of about 5-10kg
Another point is that the nodes appeared/grew to where they are over a period of 1-2 months and stayed like that since then. The size of the nodes increase or decrease a bit everyday, depending on time of day, weather or if im tired etc.
Lastly, the supraclavicular node is the one i discovered last ( maybe 2 weeks after the groin nodes) and this appeared to be already fully grown/stayed the same size since then.
I have some questions about this. Any help would be much appreciated
1. Considering that i have had these nodes for a year and half without any other symptoms, is this something i need to be worried about?
2. Theoretically, if this was due to HIV (the only way i would have this is if someone pricked me with an infected needle without me noticing), would the fact that these grew over a month atleast, rule this out?
Many thanks for the help

Brief Answer:
6 monthly Pet CT scan
Detailed Answer:
Hi
After hearing your history since you are not having any weight loss and no other symptoms the enlarged lymph nodes are not cancerous and there is nothing to worry. It sometimes become enlarged due to some metabolic changes in the body Nothing serious Since its size remained the same and u are having it more than 1 year and have increased weight no problem. Just do 6 monthly Pet CT scan No HIV u are having and it only get transferred if infected needle is pricked into you
But since you are not having any symptoms like fever, cough and cold and unexpected weight loss there is nothing to worry
Regards.

Thank you
Could you also please let me know about second question. Since the nodes grew over 1-2 months, can hiv be completely ruled out? In hiv, does nodes grow very quickly?
