I Have Been Having Kinda High Blood Pressure With The
Question: I have been having kinda high blood pressure with the bottom number being the higher one. It is in the 80’s -90’s and 100’s for a couple years. Now for months I have a loud heart beat in my right ear that will not go away unless I put pressure on my right side of neck. If I put hand on left side on neck the sound in right ears get louder.

I passed carefully through your concern and would like to explain that first it is necessary to properly control your high blood pressure values.
As your are a young lady we have to exclude any possible implications of a secondary hypertension, due to any organs dysfunction (renal, adrenal, thyroid dysfunction, any forms of systemic/inflammatory disorders like vasculitis, aortitis, etc. an aortic coarctation, etc.)
In this regard, several lab tests and imagine studies should be performed.
If any underlying causes of hypertension is detected, it may be properly corrected with the consequence of BP control. Several anti-hypertensive therapy schemes are available.
Once, blood pressure control is achieved it is expected that your unpleasant feeling in your right to subside.
But, if it persists, then is is necessary to review the aortic and supra-aortic vascular system. For such purpose, an ultrasound of the neck vessels and possibly an aorta angio CT or MRI would be required.
You should discuss with your attending doctor on the above mentioned issues.
