Question: I have been having odd soreness in my upper body/chest muscles (arms, shoulders, neck stiff, chest) for weeks. I also get a occasional flicker of pain on the left and right side of my chest, as well as the left and right side of my abdomen. I also ocassionaly get either really hot to the touch around my chest area and abdomen, or my skin is cold to the touch on my hands, hips and feet.

Brief Answer:
Could be musculoskeletal pain.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome To Ask A Doctor Service
I have gone through your question, I understand your concern.
Your condition seems like musculoskeletal pain with some neuropathic component.
So first you have to get some lab investigation done like, vitamin B12 level, fasting blood sugar level, thyroid profile and serum calcium level and Cbc.
Because all these above conditions like, vitamin B12 deficiency, hyperglycemia, thyroid disorder or acute viral infection can lead to musculoskeletal pain.
One more thing, it could be due to Cervical Spondylosis.
So you should also get one x ray cervical spine anterior posterior view and Lateral view done.
I hope your query is clear now.
Thanks and regards
