Question: I have been having odd soreness in my upper body/chest muscles (arms, shoulders, neck stiff, chest) for weeks. I also get a occasional flicker of pain on the left and right side of my chest, as well as the left and right side of my abdomen. I also ocassionaly get either really hot to the touch around my chest area and abdomen, or my skin is cold to the touch on my hands, hips and feet.

Brief Answer:
A number of causes

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but this could be due to a number of causes.. I would recommend that you get a blood test for thyroid hormonal profile including T3, T4 and TSH to exclude hyperthyroidism. I would also recommend that you get a blood test for vitamin b12 and vitamin d levels to exclude their deficiency. I hope you find this helpful
