Arterial hypertension can mimic this clinical situation too.

For this reason, I would recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure values frequently during the day.

If your blood pressure values are normal, I would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- a chest X ray study
- complete blood count, PCR, ESR for inflammation.

Other tests may be needed, based on the above test results.

ok thank you for that, and I should also mention I have been taking Apedix (Phentermine) and have recently stopped because I have become concerned with the chest pains
