I Have Been Sick For A Week & A Half,
Question: I have been sick for a week & a half, my head is congested & I have a cough. Just got antibiotic today. I have diabetes & my legs & hands have been tingling.Also something bit my face couple weeks ago while I was sleeping.After a day or two, it had a small pink ring around it & got a little swollen,itchy.Guess I'm just anxious as my doctor is out of town. Do I need to go to immediate care?

For that, you can apply Hydrocortisone ointment locally three times a day. For pain, you can take tablet Acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500mg three times a day and for itching, Loratadine (eg. tablet Claritin) 10mg once a day. These medications should be available over the counter.
