I Have Been Taking Mega Freeflex And New Bonna Active,
Question: I have been taking Mega Freeflex and New Bonna Active, two tablets daily for the past two years for my knee pain. I did not opt for knee replacement. I went for physiotherapy. Now I am walking about twenty-five minutes every morning and am also driving short distances. I am using knee caps. Should I continue with the medicines?

I have seen the attached X-ray reports. These are three year old reports and show degenerative changes in both the knee joints. Regular physiotherapy and medicines like Mega Free flex ( Joint lubricant supplement) and New Bona active ( Calcium supplement) do help in retarding these degenerative changes. It is good that you are pain free and can walk and drive. You can continue with physiotherapy and since you are taking these supplements for past 2 years, it is best to stop these for 2 months and then resume again for 6 months. This will help in increasing the efficacy.
