I Have Been Trying To Conceive So The Doctor Sent
Please upload sonogram report if possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have gone through your query and would like to offer some suggestions.
1. From your description, your menstrual aberration seems to be a recent one. This can be due to several causes like weight disturbances, stress, infections, medications and hormone disturbances caused as in cysts of the ovary. As each cause is excluded through a proper clinical evaluation and investigation, conclusion can be made.
2. Since how long have you been married? Did you ever use any form of hormones? Did you have any pregnancy loss earlier? Did you experience any pelvic/general infection that may possibly affect your fertility? Did you see a specialist for evaluation? What investigations were done apart from the sonogram and hormone assay? Was your partner evaluated?
3. Please upload the sonogram report if possible. The impact of the cyst depends on its nature. It cannot be predicted if the cyst has regressed without a follow-up sonogram. It is good that your menstrual cycles are getting regularized once again, but, please remember that regular ovulation is necessary for trial of natural conception.
4. The fact that you are experiencing spotting is suggestive of the persistent disturbance. This needs further evaluation to help plan further management.
Please maintain a healthy diet and a healthy weight.
Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.
regards,
Shanti.V.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing back.
I have gone through the attached report.
Going by the size of the ovarian cyst, follow up is needed to see if it regresses. Meanwhile, you may need to have to get a couple of cycles of hormone therapy to arrest the abnormal menstrual pattern if styptics are not enough.
Simultaneously, maintenance of a healthy lifestyle is important.
If a histopathology was done on the products of abortion, useful information helpful to plan future pregnancies is likely to be available.
Since other investigations are normal, I think a few cycles of medical management should be able to rectify the menstrual disturbance and help plan further management.
Hope this helps.
regards,
Shanti.V.
