Brief Answer:
Oral and topical antifungal
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
It seems it could be fungal in origin but since you are already using a topical steroid cream i.e triamcinolone acetonide cream therefore it looks modified. Therefore I advice you to stop triamcinolone acetonide because although it would suppress the symptoms it won't cure the infection. I would rather suggest you to take an oral antifungal e.g either itraconazole or terbinafine for 3-4 weeks along with application of a topical antifungal e.g either luliconazole or amorolfine cream, twice daily for 3-4 weeks. In addition you may take an oral antihistamine e.g cetirizine 10mg tablet once a day for symptomatic relief from itching.
Take care.
