Backache under evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hi....
Welcome to Ask a doctor.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
At your age ,osteoporosis is quite possible or there might be a local disc herniation.
Please let me know a few things which would help me to ascertain the cause. How long do you sit and how is your posture? When did you get your calcium levels checked, what medicines are on for sciatica, are you on vitamin D3 supplementation and is there any history of trauma or lifting heavy weights?.
Time being, you can take NSAID analgesics, apply hot fomentation, correct your posture if it is faulty, take calcium and vitamin D3 supplementation.
Procure a radiograph of thoraco lumber spine too. Please revert thereafter.
I would wait for your revert.
Regards.
