I Have Dizziness 24/7 And Have Had It Along With

several times as well as tests from my head to my heart and no diagnosis except that I do not have meneges nor vertigo. No one knows what it is and no one wants to do anything further. It has worn down my nerves due to so many falls and my body due to my arthritis and change is walking position. I also have 2 bad knees. I have recently gone through tests for my low heart rate (below 50 a lot) and any blockages. Nothing was done and I was told everything was fine. Another case of find another Dr.
I live alone and have to use a walker. All my life I have been very active and I miss doing what I used to do
I am 76 years old (77 in December). I am 4 ft 10 inches tall and weigh 112 lbs. I need help badly!
I take over the counter meds for pain, zoloft, reflux med. and vitamin supplement. Keep in mind that the dizziness, headache, and fear of falling are 24 hrs a day every day for over 6 years. And I sleep like I'm in a coma. I don't hear alarms or any loud noise.
This is the only time I am not in pain!! Thank you so much for anything you can do.
Pacemaker implantation would be a good option.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for posting your query.
I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and I would try my best to help you.
I have noted your clinical details. Based on this, the most likely cause of your symptoms is bradycardia (low heart rate). 40-50 beats per minute is abnormal and pacemaker implantation seems to be the correct decision. I would request you to consult a cardiac electrophysiologist for the same.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,
