I Have Done USG ( Sonography ) Where Can Not

Question: I have done USG (sonography) where can not found baby's heartbeat. 7-8 week pregnancy. Can we continue with this pregnancy?
Brief Answer:
Wait and re-scan after two weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Since, the scan shows two yolk sacs which is an indication of twin pregnancy. The heart in twin pregnancy can sometimes be shown in later scans. Also, there could be a discrepancy in the dates which could lead to false dates in the scan.
I would recommend you to get a re-scan after 2 weeks to understand the scenario.
Please discuss your gynecologist plan here,
Hope, I answered your query.
Please do ask if any doubts.

Thank you doctor for your reply. The reports I had attached was my 2nd USG. Today I did 3rd USG and attaching reports for your further advice.
Brief Answer:
Consult your gynecologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Transvaginal scan is more accurate.
The irregularity in the gestation sac can be due to twin pregnancy sometimes, the other possibility includes abortion.
The TVS scan of yours show features suggestive of abortion.
Do consult your gynecologist for further management at the earliest.
