I Have Forced My Back A Bit Too Much While

default
Posted on Sat, 20 Apr 2019
Question: I have forced my back a bit too much while moving so it has been aching for 3 weeks now. I used to feel it in my upper back, generally on the left (I am left handed so maybe I forced that side more) but now the ache moves around my torso especially heavy on my chest and XXXXXXX cage area, making it hard to breathe when pain is intense. I usually lie to my right side to feel better but if I have cramps on my rib cage area I lie on my back. I generally can%E2%80%99t move too long while walking, doing daily activities or sitting. Some nights it wakes me up from my sleep some night I sleep till morning. Once I had a serious pain like a stroke I got all pale and cold sweat I had to sit on the bathroom floor. It went away 20-30 mins later. Not sure if this is about a muscle injury or not. I tried Voltaren (25 mg) and Norgesic but I think It goes worse. Can you advice?

Brief Answer:
Seems to be musculoskeletal pain due to overusing your back, advice as follows

Detailed Answer:
Hello

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

The pain you are feeling is muscular skeletal due to overusing your back.

As voltaren and norgesic are not working, then X-ray of back plus MRI of the spine is recommended to decide the right diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Physiotherapy is the most important thing to do. meanwhile. Take magnesium and vitamin b6 supplement to ease muscle contractions.

Try to put a pillow on sides when you sleep.

Further, follow up with an orthopedic doctor is also recommended.

Wish you a fast recovery.
Let me know if you have any other concerns.
