Question: I have gout and have not been seeing a rheumatologist for it, however am in the middle of a flare and have no prednisone to stop the pain from the flare. Due to pandemic, I really am scared to go to a community clinic or any other medical facility.

Acute flare up of gout can be managed symptomatically by over the counter available NSAID group of drugs like aceclofenac or diclofenac, which may be available by online in some places. You can not get drugs like steroids and colchicine without prescriptions
Home remedies like ice compression and limb elevation will also be effective for pain relief.
Make sure to drink plenty of water as it will help to flush excess uric acid from the body and thereby provide some symptomatic relief.
