Question: Hello,
For as long as I can remember I have had a small bump on my right chin. I have had a beard for the last few years but when I recently shaved my beard, that's when I noticed the bump has gotten bigger. It is the same color as my skin and doesn't itch or bleed. I have attached pictures for your reference. What could this be?

Brief Answer:
Epidermoid cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can see a single skin coloured raised bump on chin which is most likely an epidermoid cyst. An epidermoid cyst is benign and results from the accumulation of keratin which is secreted by the epidermal cells lining the cyst wall. An epidermoid cyst is painless unless it is infected. It might slowly increase in size or remain static. The cyst can either be left alone if it isn't bothersome else it can be removed surgically along with the lining cyst wall.
I hope I have answered your query.
