Question: I have had an elevated CRP of about 23 for the last year. For about 8 months I ran fever low-grade daily. My white count was slightly elevated but is normal now. I had a complete work up and every test short of a PET scan and even when to Mayo with no diagnosis other than FUO. I still run fever a few days a week, which is low grade 99.5-102, which has been the highest. My normal temp before this started was 97.6 on average. I now run fever a fever days a week but still suffer from fatigue. I was hospitalized three times last fall and had a full FUO work up but the CRP stays consistently elevated and I generally feel tired. My doctors seem to be at a loss for what else to explore and I am not comfortable hoping it finally returns to normal. I want to know why I am so tired and it is elevated so much.

Brief Answer:
please upload all the test reports

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

This is obviously a tough nut to crack but I'm willing to have a look into it. I'm going to need the test reports though (all of them) and a complete and detailed list of your symptoms. I'm not interested in transient symptoms that may have occurred for various reasons, for example diarrhea that lasted for a couple of days. I'm interested in symptoms that remained stable during the whole 8 months period. Another thing I'd like to you clarify is whether you've had a temperature higher than 98,8 every day (or not).

I'll be glad to continue this discussion after getting to see the reports.

Kind Regards!

Yes my fever ranged from 99.5 to 102 daily but most often came in at 99.5-100.5. I have all my records from all doctors. I currently run between 99.5-100.5 about 4 days a week but it doesn’t last all day it comes and goes but I have not noticed a specific pattern. My most recent CRP was 23.6 but my send rate and WBC were normal but my platelet count was slightly elevated. My blood pressure and cholesterol are also normal.

Brief Answer:
please read the instructions

Detailed Answer:
The CRP measurement (in mg/L I suppose?) is not sufficient to suggest anything. I'm going to need every test you've done so I can check what might be missing from the investigation and suggest further action.
