I Have Had An Extremely Painful Groin - Right Side - For The Last 2 -3 Months

Question: I have had an extremely painful groin - right side - for the last 2 -3 months. It hurts to walk. It hurts to lay down and its excruciating to get out of bed in the morning. It feels a bit like a pulled muscle, but never gets better. I doubt that this is a hernia as i don't work out with weights any longer and haven't lifted anything heavy for years. If I press down with moderate pressure in the crease where my groin meets my abdomen I can find a spot that is tender, but it seems to be behind a large ligament and hard to get to. I am a 59 year old male relatively healthy, don't smoke, drink or take recreational drugs. This pain was not brought on by any injury and is slowly getting worse. If it keeps up at this rate I will be bedridden by the end of January 2021. Any input or guidance is appreciated.
