I Have Had Deep Vein Thrombosis Thrice - Once When

Although the dcotors said this is unprovocated DVT, there is somethign I had not told the doctors. I used to masturbate for hours continuously when I had no work and was alone at home. Mostly 2-4 hours with stopping in between to prevent ejaculation. During this, I usually hold my either leg tightly with one hand between the ankle and the calf since i would be sitting on the floor (probably for support). I wanted to know whether this could be a reason for the DVT. I am asking htis now because I heard in a news that a young person got DVT because of driving for long hours in an automatic transmission vehicle and his left hand was barely used during the drive.

Hello
After going through the medical details provided by you I can understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that there are two types of DVT first which happens due to some underlying cause and second one is unprovocable DVT (for which no cause is known).
As all your tests were normal and you had this habit is sitting with your leg compressed for a long time could possibly cause stagnation of blood in your veins there by promoting clot formation. However chances of this is quite low but it’s possible as no other cause has been identified.
Now as you have had multiple episodes of DVT so you need to be on long term anticoagulation.
Hope to have been helpful.

I also have a couple of other questions. After the second DVT, I had veins appearing on on the right side of my abdomen. At the same time I also had varicose veins on my left leg (it also happened on my right leg later) - in 2007 or 2008. Not sure if tehse are related or whether the veins on my abodmen happened because of my sitting.
I used ot masturbate sitting on the floor since there were no chairs and while doing this I had felt a "lock" kind of feelng happen over the liver area - like the veins are intertwined or something. It was like pulling my that area togeether and I felt t difficult to sit straight because of that for like 10-20 seconds. When I sat on the floor masturbating the pressure used to be on the liver area because of hte way I sit (bengding to the right and pressuring the right abdomen area). I did not care for for a long time since it was not causnig major issues ad the pain was only at times when I travel sitting.
In 2017 I decided to show it to the doctor since i was getting married that year. The doctor said I had some portal vein blocked and did a CT Scan and Doppler. However, in the Doppler, there was no blockage - they said if there was a blockage at all, it is gone now. CT did not show anthing either. I have attached the reports that are from 2017-2019. [Please see the file name for the dates]. I have not dones na tests after that because the same issue had been with me for more than 10 years and no tests showed anything. He also asked me to test for ascites and tehre was no ascites. I aso did a USG Abodmen test in Aug this year and that report is also attached.
Still when I sit for long time in a position without much movement like in a car in long distance travel of 2 hours or more, my liver area starts hurting. This goes away when I relax for some time after the travel. Similarly, if I sit cross-legged too, this area starts hurting. Not sure if this is related to the varicose veins in my left leg because mostly when this happens, i also have leg pain in the left leg - but not always. Yesterday I had pain over the liver area when I was travelling for some time - the pain is like a cramp just under my rib and makes it uncomfortable for me to sit. Sometimes the pain is over the veins, sometimes it is like a cramp under my last rib. I had taken medicine (Ciplar 40) for portal vein hypertension but stopped after 6 months or so on doctor's directions - this was more than a year back.
I am attaching the old reports just to understand about the portal vein hypertension and
Q) what I should do about the pain whle sitting if there is no block.
This pain and discomfort has been there for more XXXXXXX 10 years and I have done several scans at that time and recently but nothing was identified except portal vein issue, which, after the doppler said the block is not presnt anymore.
Q. Does this mean m portal vein hypertension is gone?
Also, some times my right abdomen area has a clearly higher temperature on touch compared to the left abdomen area - when I told a doctor about it, he said its nothing to worry). I hae also attached a photo of my right abdomen.
Thank you for your help.

Hello again
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed all the reports and your detailed feedback and ad not able to see any portal hypertension as diagnosis. However portal vein blockage with liver disease can causes such veins on abdomen.
As all your reports are alright I don’t see any reason to be worried for. However if you do experience pain below last rib I would like to suggest you to take help of a psychologist to help you with this.
Rest in general keep your INR well maintained between 2-3, keep yourself hydrated, don not smoke, light exercises regularly.
Kind Regards

I can understand your concern don’t worry it’s alright. A GGT of 57 is fairly alright and there is nothing to worry.
However I would strongly recommend not to take alcohol on regular basis. Deranged liver enzymes and abnormal ultrasound with decreased appetite are suggestive of liver disease.
Just eat healthy and maintain healthy lifestyle habits.
Kind Regards

Sorry - I am always a bit anxious, which is why I ask so many questions.
