Brief Answer:
How much is body temperature?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these chills. While nausea seems a common observation, fever and chills are not. These always bring to the forefront concerns about an infection especially in the absence of other possible causes. Infections in young men are often in the upper respiratory tracts and lungs and the digestive system.

Do you have any of these symptoms such as cough, chest pain, difficulties breathing, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cough, sore throat? If you do, please report to me as they may orient to a possible source that can be further explored.

I hope to hear from you. In the interim, if the temperatures rise high, take Tylenol for fever while we continue to explore and identify the source of infection.

I hope this guides.
I wish you well and look forward to hearing from you.

I have no other symptoms aside from the chills, lack of appetite, and apparently now sleep. I was not able to sleep last night and I do not feel so tired. I took my temperature and I am at 97.8. (family usually runs pretty cold, I was at 96 yesterday)

How are you today?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the follow-up.

Your temperature is really not suggestive of a fever. I will like to know how well you are doing today.

Do you still have any lingering issues? Were any new temperatures taken?

Waiting to hear from you!
