Brief Answer:
Can be due to bulging discs in lumbar spine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The numbness in the ball of your foot can be related to degenerative changes in the lower back- at the level of lumbar spine. This can be caused by a mild nerve root compression by the bulging discs.
To improve the numbness it is best to start with methylcobalamin supplements after getting the blood levels of Vitamin B 12 evaluated. Starting the back strengthening exercises under the guidance of a physiotherapist will also help in retarding the further progression of the problem.
I hope this answers your query.

At your age it is common to have such a disc bulge. This is an age related degenerative change of the spine. Regular exercise and physiotherapy can help in improving the symptoms.
