I Have Had Recurrent Pain In My Anal Area For
I have noticed a whitish, fibrosis-looking change in the posterior midline of the anus. This has been there for several months. I'm not sure what it is, maybe it can be a scar after an old fissure? I've had constipation and gastrointestinal issues for years.
I'm otherwise healthy and 31 years old. Have some anxiety issues and a lot of stress lately (starting a new job etc.).
Can be a fissure.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for choosing "Ask a Doctor" service for your query,
Have seen your details and I appreciate your concerns.
The first picture attached by you has hemorrhoids.
You have written I have a thrombosed hemorrhoid 3 weeks ago...I can't
understand this...You got the hemorrhoid thrombosed by your surgeon?...Are you telling me the diagnosis or post treatment condition? please make clear.
Secondly fissrue is something which on one end is connected to anal or rectal canal glands. It's tract can't be tracked by naked eyes.Inflammation inside any of them may cause pain.
A MRI fecogram should be done to see the exact path of the fissure.
Pain is suggestive of fact that some thing is wrong in the body.
If pain is there;Definitely there is some problem.
Fecal calprotectin would only be elevated if inflammation is inside intestine.
Fullness near anal area may be suggestive of ongoing infection.
Discuss this with your doctor and revert me back with what he says.
Treatment tried till date?
Reply the questions I asked above.
Thank you.
