I Have Herpes Around My Eye, And Left Forehead. I
Question: I have herpes around my eye, and left forehead. I have blood clot issues so is there any way this can go into my brain and don't want it going into my eye. I've had herpes since I XXXXXXX 15 . Never knew there was a cure. I was told to bath in warm water with prisoners and scream into towel when I urinated, I didn't know you could get it on your forehead, etc. And it is very painful. The 1st time I got it it was painful but mostly going pea. But this hurts, feels like my simple wants to explode. Should I go to emergency or wait til tomorrow for urgent care? Thankyou
Brief Answer:
Start with antivirals, go to emergency room
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and you seem to be having herpes zoster.
You need to start with antiviral drugs as soon as possible.
I would recommend you to take tablet valciclovir 1 gram thrice daily for 7 days and take tablet tramadol 50 mg twice daily.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
I would recommend you to go to the emergency room and start with the medicines.
I hope to have answered your query and would be happy to answer any further queries.
