Question: I have hsv1 herpes. A rash on my penis. Nothing on my skin or mouth.. I visited my son his wife and 3 year old granddaughter, for a few days last week,at a condo in Florida, a lot of time spent on the beach. I gave a quick hug to son ,his wife when we met and when I left..it was 6 days, didn't stay over, as I love nearby. On the 3rd day we went to dinner. It was on a patio on the water. We were bitten by te Moslems bugs. The next day they both broke out with bites on their arms and legs. They still have them , they are getting better, with calamine lotion.
Could I have spread herpes just by a couple of quick hugs, and could those bites, be herpes instead.
