Why I Have Inflammatory Like Spots On My Penis Glans?

Question: I have inflamation like spots on my penis glans(portion below foreskin). Earlier it was confined to a small portion and now it got spread to majority of that area. I dont have any itching or noticeable pains. I didnt notice this for a while so not sure when it really started to appear. A few weeks back when I saw, I could see redness in some places and one large spot having around 0.5cms diameter like a wound and another small spot of around 0.1cms diameter like a wound. After doing a little bit search, I tried applying Clocip ointment regularly after bathing for 3 weeks now. The small spot disappeard now. But the large one still stays as such and I am not seeing any improvement or healing on that spot and the redness in rest of the places. So this is concerning me. I am using latex condoms for more than 4 years and I haven't noticed any alergic reactions to that as well. Please help. I have attached a few photos of the area.
Brief Answer:
Zoon's balanitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can see bright red patches on glans and foreskin which is most likely Zoon's balanitis or plasma cell balanitis- an idiopathic, asymptomatic benign condition of glans and foreskin in middle aged males. I suggest you to use a moderately potent topical steroid e.g either triamcinolone acetonide or mometasone furoate 0.1 % ointment twice daily for a few days. These are prescription medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
Thanks.

Thank you for your guidance. I have bought the ointment and started applying it. I will update on the results. I have a few questions regarding this. Is there a specific reason for this to appear? Do I need to follow any procedure in cleaning the foreskin and how often should I do? Is there any harm in using regular natural latex based condoms? Should I refrain from doing sex until this heals? Also my foreskin seems so dry(ie less lubricated than it was earlier). Should I go for any lubrication while doing sex?
Brief Answer:
Zoon's balanitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Zoon's balanitis is idiopathic in most cases however irritation, moisture and low grade infection are thought as possible underlying causes. You may clean the area with lukewarm water. Avoid soap or dettol etc. Condoms can be used. If you feel like having sex, you may. Zoon's balanitis is usually asymptomatic. Avoid using oils etc for lubrication. However you may use lubricants for sex that are available online for the purpose.
Take care
