Question: I have just been prescribed Fosamax for my osteoporsis. I read that this needs to be taken on an empty stomach first thing in the morning. I am also taking Pantoprazole, taking this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Are you able to give me any suggestions on how I should handle this? Thank you in advance.
Brief Answer:
First pantoprazole, then fosamax
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I suggest you start with pantoprazole and then take your fosamax. Alternatively, take your fosamax and wait 30 minutes and then take your pantoprazole.
Thanks.
