Serum electrolytes loss may have caused the symptoms

Hi! Welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it be due to water or electrolytes loss during such strenous activities however, vitamins and micronutrients deficiencies needs to be ruled out and replacement may be needed if so.

Currently it's better to get oral rehydration salts and water replacement done orally. If symptoms persist, serum electrolytes levels specially potassium, magnesium, calcium and sodium needs to be assessed.

Micronutrients and vitamin supplements for calcium D3 B12 and folic acid may be helpful. Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith muscle relaxants like orphenidine can be helpful for symptomatic relief.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
