Brief Answer:
It can be a subacute tonsillitis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Most probably it will be subacute tonsillitis where there is symptoms are less compared to strep throat. Rarely fungal infection like thrush or small stones(tonsilolith) can cause small dots in the tonsilar surface.
As of now there is no role for antibiotics as you are asymptomatic. You can do warm saline gargles or gargling with a antiseptic oral solution. Which will also helps to tackle dryness of your throat.
Avoid cold beverages and foods for a few days.
You can wait for one week for spontaneous resolution.
If symptoms persist or in case of fever, we can plan for a throat swab.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks
