Brief Answer:
Can be a hormonal abnormality.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.

From the details provided it seems that you have menstrual irregularities for the last two months. The frequent and irregular periods can happen due to hormonal imbalance or fibroids in the uterus.

You need a few investigations like blood tests and ultrasound scans to find out the exact cause. Till then, hormonal treatment after consulting with your gynecologist will help. You can start with regular iron supplements till then to combat the blood loss.

Hope this answer is helpful.
Any further queries are always welcome.
