Question: im freaking out. I have open sores on my back and other areas where there is a little white plug in the center that hurts. Also, when rubbing skin with vitamin e oil, this white substance came out like slimy and BIG...like a worm.......about 3/4 inch long, and 1/4 to 1/2 wide....what the hell is going on, im about to have a panic attack. how can this stuff come out of a little pour?
Brief Answer:
Sebaceous cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I checked the image that was attached.
The white substance could be sebum. The sores are most likely an infected sebaceous cyst. The other reason could be acne which is less likely in 59 yr old.
You should get this examined by a dermatologist. I assure you that these are completely treatable and fully treatable. You do not have to panic unnecessarily. They just require some good lifestyle and medication for two to three months effectively.
Thanks
Hope this assures you.

this all started when i got hit in the back with a heavy door that had a cylinder knob shaped like a bullet. It made a dent and a bruise on my lower back by my spine. 8 months later i developed a half dollar size open wound, simular to a pressure wound. it has healed nicely. I pulled a lot of clogged pore blackheads out of it. Now i get mosquito bite bumps that when i itch, it opens up to a open sore. it spreads as in a new crater opening up next to the other.
Brief Answer:
Dermatologist consult for prescription
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If you have multiple lesions. First you should be put on antibiotics for initial healing. If there is active infection nothing has to be done with scalpel and needle. It has to healing with fibrosis and at the same time they should not look awkward. So get this examined by Dermatologist first.
If you do not intervene now they may get healing, but delayed, the result of healing could look awkward.
