I Have Overall Body Heaviness And Am Weak All Over.
Question: I have overall body heaviness and am weak all over. Very difficult to describe. Feel like I'm moving in slow motion. W, 2018hen I stand up I am overtaken by what I can only call heaviness in all my limbs as well as my head and torso. This started after I received a pacemaker on Dec. 20, 2018. The Dr. nicked a blood vessel and I had internal bleeding in my left shoulder that wasn't found for a week. This has been an ordeal as they told me I can only let the blood pool reabsorb and it can't be drained. Would any of that cause this horrible heaviness and weakness I am experiencing?
Brief Answer:
You should be investigated.
Detailed Answer:

Insertion of Pacemaker,Internal bleeding from a blood vessel doesn't cause generalised weakness or heaviness.
Some amount of blood loss can lead to weakness which is temporary.
Low levels of Thyroid hormones can lead to weakness and heaviness. Please get Thyroid function tests-T3,T4,TSH levels.
Heart related tests to be done to exclude heart problem.
Please take Multivitamin and mineral combination Tablets once daily.
Start breathing exercises which will help you.
You should consult a General physician and proceed further.
Nothing to worry.

Wish you good health and speedy recovery.

Thank you. I recently had my thyroid checked and was told it is fine. I will check with my Dr to verify the tests you mentioned were all done.
Should I see some kind of specialist to check further reasons for these symptoms? What kind of specialist?
