The symptoms look like viral pharyngitis.
DO warm water gargling.

If any fever is associated then you may need a course of antibiotic.

I usually prescribe Bactoclav in my practice. consult the local physician and get his opinion on this once.

Most of the time viral infection is present, secondary bacterial infection. Need not worry about the cause un till it is very severe and persistent for more than 15 days. Now you can continue gargling.

Add an antibiotic course if symptoms get worsen.
As antibiotics are available only on prescription get them prescribed by a local physician.
