I Have Pain In My Upper Body: Sternum , Chest
Question: I have pain in my upper body: sternum, chest and ribs. The pain is sore to the touch
. I’ve had bloodwork CBC and other labs to rule out heart problems. I’ve had a chest x ray and ekg to rule out some stuff. Went to pcp and emergency room over the last month. Nothing found.
Shooting Pain now also inside of chest on right side of nipple.

the black x marks on the pictures represent the spots of pain. all are sore to the touch.

my only follow up questions:
1. i havent been working out. does this change the assesment?
2. this has been occuring off and on for a month. how long should treatment be? for the rib and sternum pain i was prescribed ibuprofen but i didnt take constantly.
3. could it be any other labs or specialist i should consult? my concern is that its on the right side of the chest and so close to the nipple. its not near the ribs as much as it once was. are there muscles around there?
