I Have Pain In The Area Where My Rectum Used

Question: I have pain in the area where my rectum used to be (I have and ileostomy). The pain runs all the way down the backs of my thight and legs on the right side. I have neuropathy in the left foot up to the ankle when I begin to exercise. Once the blood begins to circulate, the pins and needles depart. I'm wondering why some of my pain may be located in the area where my rectum was removed.
Brief Answer:
Symptoms are largely neurological in origin
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
I can certainly understand your concern.
I have worked through your attached query in detail.
As per the narrated symptoms, the possibility of compressive spine disease is largely responsible for your symptoms.
Ileostomy and the removal of rectum does not really contribute to your symptoms.
The given symptoms are largely neurological in origin and thus further evaluation of the spine has to be made.
Post your further questions if any.
Thank you
