I Have Pain On My Left Side, Around To My

Question: I have pain on my left side, around to my back and in the front, and going down my top of my thigh, not sharp or shooting pain , just a constant deep radiating pain, and it hurts to lift my leg or when I stand up. It's been a few days constant. all on the left side. It hurts if I press on my side in the back. I had no injury, I have no other symptoms. No fever, no pain urinating, no dark or smelly urine. The only other thing I've been dealing with is a horrific itching all over my body and head that I went to the allergy doctor for because I think it was the Plaquenil that I was taking that I was allergic to. She said it was a drug rash. So I'm just finishing up a a round of prednisone. I'm on the last day of 10mg one a day for 3 days. started with 4 for 4 days, then 3, and so on. But I am still itching terribly. mostly at night, and when I first get up in the morning. So is this pain in my kidney? I don't have any other signs of a kidney infection.
Brief Answer:
Seems related to kidney stones or infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think that this left back pain radiating to left top of thing can be related to kidney issues possibly infection or stones.
Doesn't seem related to the allergic reaction you had related to plaquenil.
I think you should do an urine test and an ultrasound of kidneys.
You may need to stop using the drug which caused the allergic reaction .
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you for that answer so let me say this, of course since I have not addressed this yet, except here, I have been dealing with it each day hoping will go away, and it does ease up as the day goes on and is tolerable, however it isn't gone. So is that normal? for it to lessen in intensity as I go about my day, but still be present. I don't thinking can ignor it another day. So when I get up in the morning, and still have the pain, should I just go to a doctor?

Brief Answer:
Do a kidney ultrasound.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again.
Of course you should go to doctor and get further evaluated as I previously mentioned you may need to do an ultrasound of kidneys and urine analysis.
Having kidney stones or crystals is possible.
Also it is possible that it may be really intense pain one day and may be less intense the next day.
Evaluation is needed.
