Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for the query. I can understand your concern. According to your statement, you have been suffering from irritation on the bridge of the nose and upper part of left eye.

Such type of irritation may result from direct contact with a substance or an allergic reaction to those particular area. Substances like plastic or metal frame of your spectacles. But, as you have already changed your frame for times, so it is not the exact cause.

Again, such type of irritation may result from sinusitis of those particular areas. Your ethmoidal sinuses are located near the bridge of your nose and behind the eyes as well as near the inner corners of the eyes. Sphenoidal sinuses are located around eyes, forehead or temple.

So, inflammation or infection of those particular areas may cause irritation on nasal bridge and upper part of the eye. You can undergo some investigations such as imaging studies studies like CT scan or X ray of sinuses, nasal fluid tests, biopsies of the sinuses etc to find out the exact causes for your present sufferings and then treat them accordingly.

In the meantime, you can take antibiotics like Amoxicillin, antihistamines, corticosteroids etc and apply saline irrigation will help prevent and treat inflammation of sinuses.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Thank you for joining again. It will be better to undergo first to confirm the diagnosis as sinusitis and then start taking the medications.
As you want, so I am trying to suggest some over the counter drugs that may help to subside your present sufferings.

You can take the medication as follows-
Tab. Allegra (120mg)
0+0+1 for 10 days.

Oral Antibiotics like Amoxicillin can't be purchased without a physician's prescription. But, oral Erythromycin (500mg) may be collected which dose is 4 times daily for 7 days. If not possible, then you can take garlic, honey, clove, ginger, oregano etc as natural antibiotics.
Nasal Saline Spray is available as over the counter product.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
